Luxury Soft Cashmere Feel Shawl Wrap Scarf for Women - Warm Winter Accessory for Office, Travel & Special Occasions

This is the first time I've ever submitted a review, despite having made hundreds of purchases over the years through Amazon. These shawls, which I purchased in various shades for a wedding, exceeded my expectations in so many ways. I can't believe the feel, or hand of the fabric, was so exceptional for the price I paid. They are packaged nicely, are a great weight and really looked incredible on my wedding guests. Everyone raved. I inserted a little card in the package saying 'To have and to hold, in case you get cold", and they were quite the hit at a nighttime elegant outdoor wedding. I'm planning to order more for myself in different colors - they are that nice. Service was great and they were delivered promptly. I noticed on some of the reviews that people complained about a tag that was glued on. That's true, but I easily lifted the edge and peeled it off, without any damage whatsoever to the fabric. I really can't say enough about this product; they look expensive but they weren't.UPDATE: After using this wrap a few times, I have to say that perhaps I was wrong about it not being cashmere. It stops wind like a brick wall and is significantly warmer than my (more expensive) boiled-wool shawl. I purchased it for the color, so my original review didn't take functionality into account. I'd give it more than 5 stars if that were possible! Soooooo the listing doesn't specifically claim that the scarf is made of cashmere. The word 'cashmere' appears several times, and the scarf comes with a 'cashmere' label attached, but, truthfully, nowhere is the fiber content of the item actually identified. It's NOT cashmere. It's a thick, almost flannel/felt-like material. What's the old saying?... "You get what you pay for"? Well, you're not paying premium price, and you're not getting premium fabric. However, in this case, you get a better-than-fair trade for your money. This is a quality item.Whatever it's made of, the wrap is still pretty. Smooth and soft, luxurious feeling, with a nice size, weight and drape; a good value for the purchase price.This is a fabulous scarf for the price. I've paid three times as much as this scarf for others and they aren't the quality that this one is. It isn't quite as wide as I had wanted, but it's exactly as wide as described. My fault for not actually getting a tape measure out. Though I think it's a cashmere/polyester blend it's definitely heavy on the cashmere side. Another reviewer indicated it was "felt like" and I strongly disagree with that. Of course I don't know what product he/she actually received, but the scarf that I received is definitely not felt like. It's soft, cozy and warm. I'll definitely buy more as I weed through my older scarves.Beautiful wrap! The fabric is soft and drapes well. It's lightweight so perfect if the weather is a bit cool or if you don't know what the weather will be like on the day. It comes in a variety of colors so something to match any outfit. I actually bought two of these. The red was worn at a wedding. The only complaint is there is a tag on it that showed in the pictures. If you're taking photos, be aware of the tag and turn it to the back. The length will work for women of many different sizes. Both an XL and a Medium size wore the wraps comfortably.I love this scarf. It's very soft, warm and an ideal weight and size to use as either a scarf or a wrap. I have used it in restaurants and other places that were a bit chilly. It's my new favorite accessory. The color gray is soft and goes with just about anything. The only negative is that it pills a little, but I may be able to brush it back out with a lint brush.I ordered four of these shawls, three arrived packaged the same way and in the same ivory colour as I ordered. However the fourth one arrived packaged differently, in a different colour, with a different tag and appears to be a completely different brand. I am somewhat irritated by this as they are for my upcoming wedding, and now I need to find something else. The three that arrived as ordered were lovely.A friend of mine had this scarf and it was exactly what I was looking for before a transatlantic flight. I LOVE this scarf - it is really really soft and very warm and it traveled well. It now lives in my office for cold days. It is large enough to wrap around you, whether using it as a scarf or a small blanket. I highly recommend it - and plan to order other colors.I just wore this last night for the first time since purchasing it over the summer as a daily deal. It had a very nice weight to it and the color is a true black. It looks like much more than I expected to receive.
