Can be worn as a pashmina or scarf, colors are vibrantThis is a medium NOT a large scarf for a woman above average height, so if you are looking for an oversized item this is NOT it. From the shoulders it only falls to about the waist, and good luck keeping it on your shoulders. Would not make a good poncho or wrap and the material is not enough to really "wrap" yourself in. If you're just looking for a super pretty scarf to wrap around your neck then this is actually very lovely & unique. It's soft, but not like flannel or silk so I'd give it 4 out of 5 on softness. The colors are really lovely and exactly as pictured, but better in person. A very light sheen to the fabric makes good casual luxury, but not over the top. Material is thick enough to appear as a fall/winter scarf, and not nearly thin enough to be draped well. So IMO it's more of a casual item which unfortunately is not what I bought it for. It's NOT a good evening scarf bc it's just a bit too thick and lacking drapability. Also NOT a good head scarf for religious needs either. I'm keeping them though. They are too pretty to send back :) Came very nicely packaged too. Excellent quality item. They can be warn as a scarf or shawl to dress up any outfit. These are well worth the money, and have become my go-to gesture gift for any occasion.I recently bought 6 of these for Christmas gifts for the ladies in my extended family for less than $80! I cannot recommend these highly enough.not right for me, i made a mistake
